Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah

Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah in Agra was built by Empress Nur Jahan, Jahangir's wife, to his parents. The name in translation sounds pompous - "The support of the state" that does not fit with a few light and elegant appearance of the structure. However, it is not accidental - it is one of the names of the father Nur Jawhar known dignitary Mirza Giyas-run.
